Pondsmith has been working with CD Projekt Red since 2012, and somewhere down the line was asked whether he, a tabletop pro, knew anyone who could make a Witcher tabletop game. Mike Pondsmith did: his son, Cody.

But Cody had to win the work, so for the next several months he - already an obsessive Witcher fan - steeped himself in the world and lore and put together a pitch for CD Projekt Red. It worked and he got the gig. He even went on to hire his mum Lisa to do some writing for the game - what a family!

The Witcher Tabletop Roleplaying Game should provide all the materials you need to run games set in the world of The Witcher, covering everything from character creation to combat, magic, monsters, world lore and more.
